Krogering Fashion- Trashion Refashion Show
‘Krogering Fashion’ is a dramatic yet playful take on a dance silhouette upcycled from used Kroger bags. It was showcased in the 2022 Bloomington Trashion Refashion Show, an annual fashion show that is held to raise funds for the Center for Sustainable Living. The show is a way to inspire designers, students, community members and even children to discover and design new ways to merge discarded materials and creativity. This is an initiative to encourage everyone to think about sustainable fashion and how we can incorporate that into the fashion industry. This playfully dramatic piece was an attempt to merge concepts of fashion, sustainability, and creativity through trash materials.
